Welcome, Rayghan Vilt, our new Guidance Counselor!
We're so excited to introduce our wonderful 1st grade team! These ladies are ready to welcome your little learners with open arms and big hearts. With a passion for early education, creativity in the classroom, and a love for helping students grow, this team is dedicated to making learning fun, meaningful, and memorable. This year, joining Ms. Becky, we are happy to welcome Ms. Rachel Lewis to CCES. Between these two, we are looking at 40 plus years of classroom experience! They are ready for a great year!
Meet our amazing Special Education team! 💙 Our resource teachers and assistant bring incredible patience, care, and expertise to support every student’s unique learning journey. They use personalized strategies to help students grow, thrive, and feel confident every step of the way. This year, we were able to bring Ms. Alexis Utley in as a 3rd teacher, working with 2nd and 3rd grade. Ms. Tracy Penney will be working with 4th and 5th, while Mr. Alex Chapman will be working with Kindergarten and 1st. Ms. Becky Yount will be working with all grade levels!

Our Wildcats have been challenged this month to spread kindness by completing random acts of kindness and love. Our halls are filled with hearts of affirmations, along with other sweet items that have brought us much joy! We're continuing this challenge throughout the month of February! We challenge our families to do so the same. What can your family do for others to show them you care, and make them feel loved and important?

Our Fourth Grade classes were able to have a reward for completing the Wildcats Love to Read Project. Thank you to Calvert City Drive In for donating the popcorn!
Today is "White Christmas"....PJs, snow, an igloo, snowflake craft, and snack! Thank you to our PTO for providing snacks and helping our students craft a cute snowflake ornament!
Our Second Graders had a BIG day! They started off the day with reading The Polar Express. They found a clue that sent them on an adventure of clues. What did they find? Golden Tickets!
Thank you to the Women of Westlake for the super cute gifts for the students in our mentoring program! Thank you for spending time with our students and for the thoughtful gift!
Thank you Pathway Baptist Church for providing our staff with lunch today!
What an amazing program! Thank you Mrs. Kayla for putting this together. Our Drama Club students made all of the props that were used today, great job!
